Family Drug and Alcohol Courts Annual Report 2021/22

The first Family Drug and Alcohol Courts annual report pulls together key figures on the activity and impact of these courts over the last year.

Flourish

Funded by Lambeth Council, Flourish began operating in May 2021 and is based within Children’s Social Care. It offers a range of short-term interventions, as well as an 18-month structured programme. 

About the team

The team comprises two Lead Practitioners and one dedicated Team Manager who have all been systematically trained to work with individuals with complex needs. The advisory board, chaired by the Assistant Director of Children’s Social Care, consists of key internal and external partners.

What inspired this service?

Prior to the My Ally (MA) service, the relationship and domestic abuse support services within Watford Women’s Centre (WWC) comprised of two domestic abuse support workers offering face to face and telephone appointments and supporting women on a one-to-one basis.
