This briefing summarises the evidence and models of practice in existing Integrated Domestic Abuse Courts (IDACs) internationally. Following the Government’s commitment to create the first IDAC pilot, this is an exciting opportunity to properly trial an investigative and problem-solving approach to domestic abuse. The briefing provides practitioners and policymakers with useful ideas and insights into how these courts can be effectively piloted in England and Wales.
