This briefing offers our concerns about aspects of the Crime and Policing Bill currently passing through Parliament. It outlines the evidence that strongly suggests that Respect Orders, a new civil order to tackle anti-social behaviour, will have a range of back-fire effects and outlines the evidence on different measures the Government could take to reduce anti-social behaviour instead, such as through new community justice provision.
