We are always keen to hear from anyone working in the justice system who is delivering or wants to develop innovative practice. We work directly with individual schemes and practitioners, facilitate practice-sharing events, coordinate cross-agency projects, and produce toolkits and practical resources. You can read more about the values we work upon here.
We offer most support to projects focussed within one or more of our priority areas:
- diversion from the justice system
- justice responses to children and young people
- better courts
- perceptions of fairness in the system
- effective community sentences
- reducing violent crime.
However, we are also interested to hear about innovative practice outside these areas and will always consider whether we can offer support.
To tell us about innovations you are currently involved with, or for more information on any of our existing projects and to find out if we can help you, please contact our practice development team using the details below.
Jo: as head of innovative practice, Jo leads all the Centre’s practice development work and can be contacted about what we do and how we work.
Claire: as innovative practice officer, Claire supports practitioners working in court with a particular focus on children and young people, as well as those delivering and supervising sentences in the community.
